LINEAR MOTOR BRAKE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A linear motor brake system is provided to directly stop a linear motor by a stop command from the outside or a signal from a limit sensor without a separate operation of a servo driver which drives the linear motor. CONSTITUTION: A linear motor(31) has a forcer which is linearly and reciprocally movable on a platen. The platen is shaped like a plat plate. A servo driver(32) drives the linear motor(31). A plurality of limit sensors(33,34) are installed on both ends of longer edge portion of the platen and limit a motion range of the forcer. A brake circuit part(35) cuts off a power source supplied to the linear motor(31) from the servo driver(32) by a signal inputted from either among the plurality of limit sensors. The first switching units turn on/off the power source supplied to the liner motor(31) from the servo driver(32). The first AND gate receives a signal from the first limit sensor(33) at one side of the plurality of limit sensors. The second AND gate receives a signal from the second limit sensor(34) at other side of the plurality of limit sensors. An OR gate receives a signal output from the first and second AND gates. The second switching unit turns on/off the first switching units by a signal output from the OR gate.
