PURPOSE: An oil separator of an air conditioner is provided to increase the driving performance of products as well as to improve the oil recovery rate by improving the amount of circulating refrigerants in a compressor in running an air conditioner for a long time. CONSTITUTION: In oil separator of an air conditioner, refrigerants and oil mixture leaving a compressor are introduced into the inside through an outlet pipe(3) installed to make the upper part of a body(1) placed in the center of an oil filter(4) inside of the body. The refrigerants and the oil mixture are separated into refrigerants and oil by the oil filter and a mesh(6) installed in the body while reaching a mouth pipe(2) communicated with a mouth of a condenser. The separated oil is repeatedly returned to the compressor through an inlet pipe(5) installed on the other lower side of the body to be communicated with the inlet of the compressor. |
