LIGHT ATM SWITCH OF SPACE-WAVELENGTH MIXTURE TYPE

PURPOSE: A switch is provided to reduce a loss of a signal by reducing the number of components in a hardware and to provide a mass capacity of services by increasing switching capacity into a mass capacity. CONSTITUTION: A variable wavelength conversion part(100) performs a wavelength conversion for routing a time division multiplexed signal. An input buffer(200) is correspondingly connected to the variable wavelength conversion part(100). A space part(300) switches and transmits signals each having different wavelengths from the input buffer(200), compresses the transmitted signals, and performs routing spacially. A wavelength part(400) routes the routing signals in a converted wavelength. An output buffer(500) converts wavelength division multiplexed signals into time division multiplexed signals. A signal reverse compression part(600) is connected to the output buffer(500) to the time division multiplexed signals to original signals through a reverse compression.
