PURPOSE: An oil drain preventing device for a vehicle engine is provided to block off drain of engine oil in case of engine-stop or speedily supply engine oil by an oil pump in case of engine-initiation by automatically being closed or opened according to the operation state of the engine, thereby improving the lifespan of the engine. CONSTITUTION: An oil drain preventing device for a vehicle engine includes an upper case(24) integrally formed at a lower part of an oil strainer(20), a lower case(30) attached to a lower part of the upper case via a filtering net(26), formed with pin fixing grooves(30a) inside and mounted with a suction tube(32) at a lower part for inhaling oil, and an oil drain preventing valve(36) for rotating by a rotation pin(38) inserted into the pin fixing groove to open and close the suction tube for alternatively blocking off the oil drain, wherein a sealing rubber(34) is attached to an upper end of the suction tube.
