PURPOSE: Support structure of a fuel tank is provided to prevent the fuel tank from being readily dislocated from a vehicle body frame and to avoid the leakage of fuel by firmly installing the fuel tank on the vehicle body frame. CONSTITUTION: Support structure of a fuel tank(1) consists of a square case shape fuel tank(1) and a support bracket installed on a vehicle body frame(2) to support the fuel tank. A lower face of the fuel tank and the support bracket are butted with each other in unevenness. A protruded molding unit(3) is formed from the lower face of the fuel tank and accepted and butted in a protrusion accepting groove portion(4) formed on the support bracket. Herein, two protruded molding units are installed on the lower face of the fuel tank. The support bracket is formed in an L shape to firmly support the fuel tank. Further, one end of a strap is fixed on a front end of the support bracket and the other end of the strap is fixed on the vehicle body frame by winding up the outer surface of the fuel tank. Accordingly, the shaking of the fuel tank is effectively reduced.
