Cryogenic liquid based filtration of contaminated fluid comprises mixing of the fluid (gas or smoke) with fine water droplets injected into the mixes. The water is blended with the cryogenic liquid to form hail which is evacuated through gravity. Preferred Features: The water is pre-cooled to near freezing point, to reduce the consumption of cryogenic liquid. |
