The heat exchanger tube (1) is made from a metal panel folded to form at least one cavity (12) for fluid circulation, and has the adjacent edges (9, 10) of the panel sealed and/or joined together by a layer of an organic or organo-silicone polymer-based adhesive. The adhesive can be applied in the form of a paint to at least one of the facing surfaces of the panel edges before or after folding.
