PURPOSE: A cap assembly of secondary battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve closure capacity of a secondary batter by improving assembly method and structure of a current breaker. CONSTITUTION: A cap assembly of a secondary battery has a positive polarity, a negative polarity, and a separator. A cap cover, a safety valve, an insulator and a current breaker are successively piled up and installed in an inside diameter of a gasket. The safety valve has a flange to support the insulator and the current breaker. The insulator has a flange to insert and support the current breaker. The flange is directly connected with the gasket. |
