The sensor head on a measuring device for detecting the radioactive contamination on any body surface area of a person is exchangeable so that body surface areas which are different in curvature can be scanned more reliably. To this end, the sensor heads comprise bearing surfaces which are more or less curved. They may curve inwardly and/or outwardly. If the sensor head is provided with an elastic surface (membrane) across large parts of the head and if it has a chamber underneath it, the curve of the bearing surface of the sensor head can be freely adjusted by means of a pump connected thereto.
