The system includes a programmable automate (API-1) connected to programmable automates (API-2,API-3,API-4) and fitted with a central unit (UC1) and couplers (CS1) communicating via a bus with the central unit (UC1). One of the couplers (CS1) is connected via a bus (B) to associated equipment's (P,SAP, C, M) The coupler (CS1) can communicate via a server function with the associated equipment (P, C, M, SAP) under the protocol (TCP/IP) and is provide with a mass memory (NS) containing (a) variable logic objects called 'variable automates' (OV) which manage the access to the variable automates (VAR) and (b) logic objects called 'manufacturers' (OM) which transform the data from the objects (OV) to the variable automates into manufacturer type data which can be used by the equipment (P,SAP,C,M). See Fig. 1 The coupler server (CS1) has a name server managing unique symbolic names attributed to each variable automate object (OV) and to each manufacturer object (OM). |
