Membrane seat valve has a main passage (2) within the housing (1). The passage also forms the valve seat (3) with a transverse hole (4,5) for the flowing medium. The valve plunger (23) and head (26) act on the seat (3). The main passage is closed at each end by a membrane (9,17) which is acted upon by heads (24,25) at each end of the plunger.
