The invention concerns a tyre comprising a breaker, two sidewalls and two tyre beads, a body reinforcement anchored in the two tyre beads and a belt reinforcement, said belt reinforcement comprising at least two superposed reinforcement plies formed with yarns parallel in each ply and criss-crossed from one ply to the other forming with the circumferential direction angles ( alpha , beta ) ranging between 10 DEG and 55 DEG . The invention is characterised in that the yarns of at least one of the two reinforcing plies are successively in contact, on the same side of said ply, moving from the tyre equatorial plane towards, at least, one of the of the reinforcing ply lateral ends, with, at least a gum skim coat with a first modulus of elasticity then a gum skim coat of a second modulus of elasticity lower than the first. |
