摘要 The invention relates to storage racks (37, 39) for fuel elements in which hydraulic damping is achieved by the fact that the entire hydraulic diameter of one or more openings (5) in floor plates (3) of the shafts (1) of the fuel element storage rack has a value which corresponds to the hydraulic diameter of an imaginary opening having a diameter of between 8 % and 35 % of the external dimensions of the floor plate (3). The invention further relates to a fuel element storage rack (37, 39) which by way of a spring element (15) can be supported in a surrounding structure. The spring element (15) is preferably hydraulically damped. The preferably hydraulic damping of the fuel element storage racks (37, 39) provided for by the invention achieves an especially high resistance to an external influence, such as an earthquake or airplane crash. The hydraulically damped spring element (15; 60A, 60B, 60 C, 62A, 62B) can be supported notably vertically against the floor (29) of a fuel element storage pool (34) or horizontally against the wall (57) of the fuel element storage pool (34).
