The double damping flywheel consists of a primary flywheel, a secondary flywheel with an inner hub (18), a reaction plate (16) with a friction surface, and a torque limiter (19). The inner hub is shaped to form a radial cavity below the inner ring (160) of the reaction plate which contains a stop (271) on a friction ring (280). It also has axial springs (70) pressing against the axial stop and a counter-stop (71) on a support.
