The microwave generator (1) radiates the microwaves directly without further integral or hollow conductor. The generator produces the microwaves and distributes them in the surface radiator (2) with large radiation angle in the microwave field (4). Both units are compactly contained in a housing (3). The surface to be dried (5) is thus entirely heated.
