Following the manufacture of cylindrical or ring-shaped components, the components are released into a container (5) for storage and transport to the next stage. The components are positioned at the top of an inclined swivel (2a) conveyer (2) belt with cross-pieces (2c) and which descends into the container base. The conveyer runs under a covering blanket (3) which rests on the goods, preventing their sudden descent and release into the conveyer. A sensor (4) detects the depth to which the container has been filled.
