The invention concerns silanes of formula (1) wherein Y is a boronate group of formula (2), wherein: c and d are integers ranging from 0 to 18; c + d = 0 to 18; e is selected between 0 and 1; Z is a divalent heterocarbon group comprising one or several heteroatoms such as O, S, and/or N. The invention also concerns the corresponding polyorganosiloxanes, the methods for preparing them and compositions containing them.
