In order to improve a screw-type compressor designed for compressing a working medium, comprising an outer housing, two screw rotors disposed in the outer housing in corresponding bores and a drive for the screw rotors in such a way that the sealing gap undergoes as little variations as possible, the invention provides that a compressor screw housing is mounted inside the outer housing in which the bores for the screw rotors are disposed and an intermediate space is disposed between a substantial part of the compressor screw housing and the outer housing. |
