The invention relates to a caulking gun (1) comprising a longitudinally extended receiving unit (2) for a cartridge (10) which is filled with the product to be discharged. The caulking gun also comprises a dosing unit (3) for the product to be discharged and has a handgrip (4) which, when in an operating position, extends outward in a crosswise or diagonal manner in relation to the longitudinally extended receiving unit (2). The handgrip (4) can move from the operating position into an inoperative position in which the handgrip (4) is arranged essentially parallel to the longitudinally extended receiving unit (2). As a result, the caulking gun requires little space when not in use.
