Instead of lithium oxide, a lithium compound can be used which will decompose to the oxide on heating, e.g. lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide. The temperature of calcination is between 500-1000 DEG C. Sodium silicate may also be added to reduce particle growth of ZnO/Li2CO3 blends during calcination.</p> |
