The camera has a perforation detection arrangement that detects the times at which successive perforation holes of a film (14) pass a predefined point during film transportation. An image superimposition arrangement (11) imposes data between adjacent perforation holes. There is also a speed detection arrangement and a controller. The controller controls the starting position for the superimposition of data between two successive perforation holes, depending on the detected times and film speed.
