<p>The invention realises, in telecommunications exchanges, additional capacity on a main distribution frame [= MDF] (1) which is equipped with partition strips (13) on the second rack (8), without the MDF (1) itself needing to be enlarged. This is achieved by including additional equipment, by way of the partition strip (13), into an interconnection of a group or cores (4) of an external cable (5) having a group of cores (11) of an internal connection cable (12), whereby the option arises of adding an interconnection with a group of cores of an additional internal connection cable to the interconnection of the group of cores (4) of the external cable (5) having the group of cores (11) of the internal connection cable (12).</p> |
