The flashing indicator light has at least one light source (1) and at least one light conductor (3) with a predefined scattering characteristic arranged in front of the source(s). The scattering power of the light conductor decreases with distance from the light source. The decrease in scattering power is logarithmic. Two light sources can be arranged at either end of a light conductor(s).
