Color adaptive retouching of electronic color images using sample values to determine average color condition

The method involves a computer mouse controlling a cursor measuring field (5) covering a matrix of 5x5 points. When activated the computer determines the average color of all points, with a high weighting value assigned to the center. Other points (2) can be corrected using the results of the sample.
