<p>Oral preparations of esculetin with controlled release. These preparations contain a gel-forming polymer base and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is preferable therefor. These preparations may be coated with an enteric polymer base such as hydroxypropylmethylcellulose acetate succinate to thereby enhance the solubility in the intestines. When orally administered, these preparations can continuously release esculetin. Thus, the administration frequency and dose can be reduced and a therapeutic effect can be established on arthropathy.</p> |
