The arrangement includes a measuring circuit connected in series to a discharge resistance (Re) of an intermediate circuit capacitance (Cz). The measuring circuit is operated by a discharge current over the discharge resistance, and is coupled, galvanically separated with a voltage display device. The measuring circuit includes preferably a driver for an LED, formed by a transistor (T3), and a mono-flop (1) which controls the driver, whereby the intermediate circuit voltage is determined in an evaluation unit containing a photo receiver (P), from the light pulses of the LED, whose frequency is proportional to the intermediate circuit voltage.
