A reversing gear has a clutch (1,2) which is not always under pressure, and which is automatically kept free of air by the movement of oil driven from a reservoir (5) through passages (9,24) and introduced at the highest point of the piston chamber. The clutches are formed as negative clutches. A reservoir (27,28) releases the pressurizing medium through throttles (25,29), modulating pressure changes. A valve (30) facilitates ultra low-speed creep operation. |
