The power station has a stack of fuel cells (1), including auxiliary systems such as reformers, converters and static inverters, and an auxiliary burner (2) that feeds a heat exchanger (6). The air required for the fuel cells and the auxiliary burner is fed via an exhaust gas/air heat exchanger (8) fed by the exhaust gases of the fuel cells. All systems of the power station are arranged in an enclosed housing (3) with thermal insulation (18).
