A vacuum switch comprises a breaker housed in a first grounded vacuum container (1), an isolating switch (40) and a grounding device (30) housed in a second grounded vacuum container (2), and an insulating spacer (8) which connects the first vacuum container (1) and the second vacuum container (2) in electrically insulating manner. The breaker, the isolating switch, and a movable blade and an operation rod extended from the grounding device are arranged substantially in the same direction.
