In the present invention there is disclosed the use of inorganic redox-active compounds of metal salts and/or metal complex being selected from a group of salts and/or complexes comprising manganese, titanium, zirconium, vanadium, cobalt and cerium, whereby the metals are in one of oxidation state II, III, IV, V or VI as preparations against silver corrosion in dish washing agents.
