<p>The packing is an axi-symmetrical cartridge made of layers of shafts (16) in fives parallel to the axis of rotation, fixed rigidly at each end to internal and external rings. The cartridge is held between a rear (7) and a front flask (8) defining the annular chamber and is blocked tangentially so the droplets and/or particles project themselves outwards under a force R. The rotating centrifugal separator comprises a rotating annular chamber (6), a radial inlet (5) for admitting a suspension mist of liquid and/or solid particles dispersed in a gas, an internal radial outlet (12) for the gas itself, an external radial outlet (14) for the liquid and/or solid particles and a filter packing (15) through which the gas passes. The force R projecting the droplets and/or particles is the resultant of the centrifugal force Fc and the dragging force Ft. The resultant R is in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation and is directed obliquely relative to the centrifugal force Fc. The shafts are metallic and are welded to the rings. The separator is placed in an oil bath containing the blades of a turbo-reactor and driven in rotation by a turbo-reactor shaft.
