For preparing a frame cycle for data signals there are determined phase positions ( P1, P2, .....) of information ( RT1, RT2, ....) of the frame cycles of incoming data signals. Control of the frame cycle phase (RTN) or system cycle is carried out to any information (RT1, RT2, ...) of the frame cycle. For this purpose phase positions ( P1, P2,....) of all incoming information (RT1, RT2, ....) of frame cycles are measured and stored in a memory device (SPN). In case of failures or breakdowns return to previously stored phase positions (P1, P2, ...) is executed, in order to retain constant phase relations. A transient point consists of a frame cycle generator (RGN), at least one measuring apparatus (PMN) and a control device (PRN) for controlling the phase and a memory device (SPN). The invention can be used particularly for central control signals or for a joint radio communication.
