Waste heat recuperation process in the polymer precipitation phase by making use of absorption heat pump

The invented process is characterized in that stripping steam is supplied as a source of heat for a heat pump from a precipitation unit (2) to tubular portion of an evaporator (6), in the housing portion of which evaporation of water takes place. The stripping steam is then conveyed into a generator (16) tubular section. In said generator (16) housing portion, evaporation of lithium bromide diluted solution takes place and non-condensed stripping steam enters an exit gas condensation cooler (20) where final condensation and cooling occurs. Steam of the evaporator (6) housing portion absorbs into lithium bromide concentrated solution to give a diluted lithium bromide solution and release of heat is further conveyed into the generator (16) housing portion. Circulating hot water of a dehydrating vibrating screen (25) is conveyed into an absorber (8) tubular section where it is heated to a higher temperature by a heat released by steam absorption into the lithium bromide concentrated solution and subsequently returns back into the precipitation unit (2).
