PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the automatic gain controller having temperature compensating function that amplifies an input signal at a constant gain independently of a change in the input signal as well as a change in ambient temperature. SOLUTION: The automatic gain controller is provided with a transistor (TR) Q1 having a gate terminal, a drain terminal and a source terminal, a gain amplifier 32 that has an inverting input terminal connecting to a source terminal of the TR Q1, a noninverting input terminal receiving a reference signal, and an output terminal connecting to the gate terminal of the TR Q1, and a bias input section 51 that supplies a bias current to the TR Q1.
