SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a safety management system which makes it possible to grasp the behavior of a person under care automatically at a base station once the person takes an action to leave his or her bed without pressing a nurse call button in a sickroom, etc., of a hospital. SOLUTION: The system comprises a central controller 2 installed at the base station and a nurse call terminal 5 which is connected to the central controller 2 and installed in a room different from the base station 1 and includes one or more sensor which is provided to the bed in the different room to detect the person under care leaving his or her bed 6 and has its output connected to the nurse call terminal 5 and an infrared CCD camera 14 which is connected to the central controller 2, controlled with the input from the central controller 2, and installed in the different room, and the central controller 2 is equipped with a means 16 which displays an image captured by the infrared CCD camera 14.
