摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic photosensitizer capable of giving good images under environments each having a low temperature and a low humidity, the ordinary temperature and the ordinary humidity, or a high temperature and a high humidity by using a layer containing a binder resin and metal oxide particles treated with an organic metal compound as the primer layer of a photosensitizer disposed on a conductive substrate. SOLUTION: This electronic photographic photosensitizer has at least a primer layer and a photosensitive layer disposed on a conductive substrate. The primer layer is a layer containing at least a binder resin and metal oxide particles treated with an organic metal oxide of the formula (M is SiR3, TiR3 or Al; R is a hydrogen atom or a 16C alkyl group; R1 and R2 are each independently a 1-6C alkyl group; R3 is a 1-6C alkyl group which may be substituted by an alkoxy group, or an alkoxy group). The metal oxide particles are preferably titanium dioxide particles having an average primary particle diameter of about 100 nm. The binder resin is preferably an alcohol-soluble polyamide resin.</p>
