<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition for ink jet printing having high visibility even for a material having a low lightness and capable of manifesting excellent properties in storage stability and jetting stability. SOLUTION: This ink composition for ink jet printing comprises 1-25 wt.% of an ink binder resin component, 3-30 wt.% of hollow polymer microparticles, 5-80 wt.% of a water-soluble solvent, 0.1-10 wt.% of a basic compound of amines, and the balance water. The hollow polymer microparticles have about 0.1-1μm outside diameter and about 0.05-0.8μm inside diameter of the particles and are insoluble in the water-soluble solvent and chemically unreactive with the ink binder resin component.</p> |
