PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block overgrowth of weeds, and finally deaden them by utilizing a wind pressure caused when vehicles are passed without requiring of scattering of herbicide and use of mowers. SOLUTION: A knife blade 5 provided with recessed blades 4 of aΩform or a dove tail form is extended in a horizontal direction from an upper edge of a frame 1 made of such a material as metal, plastic, and wood. Either the metal or the plastic is acceptable for the material of the knife blade 5, and preferably to adopt hard plastic since the metal decreases cutting ability of the weeds by generating rust, and shapes of the recessed blades 4 are corraded away by the rust to loss the ability to catch stems of the weeds.
