PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket detecting device for detecting existence of a bracket. SOLUTION: This bracket detecting device 40 comprises a seesaw lever 42 swinging with a supporting point on a bracket holding arm side 30 as a center by being pushed with the bracket, an air valve 43 which is closed only when the seesaw lever 42 is pushed and is opened at the other time, a primary side air path 44 and a secondary side air path 45 divided from a working air supply path 27 of an air cylinder 21, and an air whistle 46 attached to the secondary side air path 45. Thereby, when the working air is supplied for moving an air cylinder unit from a stand-by position to a working position, the air whistle is not blown if the bracket exists and the air whistle is blown if the bracket does not exist. As a result, operators recognize shortage of brackets, so as to weld the given number of the brackets.
