PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set constant, an inclination of the screw part of a roof rail installing bracket by a difference in curvature of the roof part. SOLUTION: In this installing structure, both side edge parts of a roof panel 7 are joined to a side body outer panel 8, a roof rail installing bracket 6 for installing a roof rail 3 is arranged on the reverse of this side body outer panel 8, the screw part 12 installed in the roof rail installing bracket 6 is projected outside from a bolt inserting hole 11 formed in the side body outer panel 8, and the roof rail 3 is thread-mounted on the screw part 12. In this case, the joining part seat surface 19 joined to the joining part of both side edge part of the roof panel 7 and the side body outer panel 8 is formed in the roof rail installing bracket 6 so that the roof rail installing bracket 6 is supported through the joining part seat surface 19.
