摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fringe like irregularity with a rubbing method by specifying at least one component of material constituting solid particle group to be a component, which shows sublimability under an atmospheric pressure condition in collision and being vapor under conditions of an atmospheric pressure and a temperature in collision, in a collision step. SOLUTION: Working materials 3, 7 are stored in a cylinder 9 preliminarily pressurized, and is supplied to a spray nozzle 2 through a delivery piping 4. The working materials supplied to the spray nozzle 2 are sprayed to a liq. crystal alignment layer with vaporized and solidified by the spray nozzle 2. The spray nozzle 2 is arranged in a fixed angle formed with a substrate 1 for aligning treatment, and this angle is properly fixed in accordance with strength, a direction or the like of objected aligning treatment. In the case of spraying to atmosphere at a normal temp. and pressure, carbon dioxide or the like is pref. as the working material. In the case of carbon dioxide, a part of the working material is solidified to dry ice. Then, the dry ice is sprayed to the substrate 1 for aligning treatment together with a vaporized working material.
