PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage medium capable of quickly installing a font. SOLUTION: A PC displays all font names included in a medium index file 4 read from a CD-ROM 1 in a work area on a display as the list of installable fonts. At the same time, the PC displays an image for promoting the destination of installation of the font. The PC specifies the font name to be installed by a user and the destination of installation by referring to the list and the image. The font having the font name specified at that time and the destination of installation is called a specific font and a specific destination of installation. The PC installs the specific font read from the CD-ROM 1 to the specific destination of installation. |
