<p>The present invention relates to the field of deep hole drilling and extraction, particularly in connection with ground water. A problem connected with cleaning of boreholes by making use of ferrous sulfide precipitate within a contaminated environment, corrosion and silting of devices placed in the borehole is resolved in such a manner that sodium pyrosulfite optionally in a mixture with sodium sulfite or a sulfur compound is continuously supplied in the form of a solution or repeatedly in the form of a salt in a borehole containing contaminated water.</p> |
