PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the friction coefficient between the fine powder and mill roller in a milling part to suppress the slipping of the mill roller and to stably operate a mill by keeping the dryness of the pulverized coal in the milling part constant. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a water power line for pouring water to the crushing part in the coal pulverizer, and a water pour rate control valve 41 is disposed in the water pour line. In this case, a timing signal 53 for timing the opening of a water pour rate control valve 41 is determined in response to a coal feed control valve 46, a set water pour rate 50 is determined in reply to the coal feed command signal, the water pour rate control valve 41 is opened in accordance with the specified coal feed by the timing signal 53 to adjust the water pouring to the crushing part based on the set water pour rate, and the dryness of the pulverized coal is lowered to suppress the vibration of the coal pulverizer due to the slipping of a mill roller. Further, the signal 53 for timing the opening of the water pour rate control valve 41 is corrected by this water pour rate controller in conformity with the kind of coal 48, and the set water pour rate is also corrected.
