PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign language learning system in which images, voices, and characters are mutually organically united for learning a foreign language such as English, thereby a large learning effect can be expected. SOLUTION: In a system for learning English by using a personal computer, when shower learning begins, a shower illustration moving pattern is selected at random, thereby illustrations for nine example sentences of one practice are sequentially displayed and the narration of the nine example sentences is loop-reproduced. A first click of the above illustration stops the movement of the illustration, and loop-reproduces the narration of its example sentence in each sentence. A second click of the above illustration displays an example text on the screen in English and Japanese while continuing the voice loop. A third click of the above illustration returns a process to the narration reproduction of the above nine example sentences and to the movement of the shower illustration again.
