PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multibeam light source device which makes it possible to obtain a uniform beam spacing and uniform beam shape on an image plane side with respect to respective laser beams by using a semiconductor laser array having plural light emitting points as a light source. SOLUTION: A collimating lens 35 is housed by fitting or press fitting into a lens barrel. This lens barrel is fixed by adhering or screwing, etc., by aligning the position with respect to the semiconductor laser array 30 in an optical axis direction A to the fitting hole 3b of a rotating base body 3. The lens barrel fixed to the rotating base body 3 fits to the fitting hole 10a of the base body 10 and is adapted to be turnable around the outside diameter 6a of the lens barrel as the center of rotation. Generally, the lens outside diameter and the lens optical axis are suppressed in offcentering with good accuracy. In addition, the outside diameter 6a of the lens barrel and the fitting hole 6b of the collimating lens 35 are subjected to the same working and, therefore, have the concentric accuracy. The center of the outside diameter 6a of the lens barrel and the optical axis A of the collimating lens 35 are eventually exactly aligned.
