PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material composition for lubrication surface treatment forming a lubricative coating which exhibits excellent workability in the case of continuous press working and continuous ironing working of a steel sheet. SOLUTION: This coating material for lubrication surface treatment essentially contains (A) an aqueous polyurethane composition containing silanol groups in its molecule, (B) 3-30 wt.% lubricity imparting agent based on the amount of the polyurethane composition and (C) 1-30 wt.% silica particles based on the amount of the polyurethane composition.
