PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to write a defective part address and a correcting program to a nonvolatile memory while the nonvolatile memory is mounted by providing a means which stores the head address of the inputted defective part and the correcting program for the defective part in the nonvolatile memory. SOLUTION: This equipment is equipped with the means which stores the head address of the inputted defective part and the correcting program for the defective part on the nonvolatile memory, a means which executes the correcting program instead of the defective part according to those head address and correcting program, etc. For example, the microcomputer of a VCR is equipped with a CPU 1 which controls respective parts of the VCR, a ROM 2 storing its program, etc., and a RAM 3 storing necessary data. This RAM 3 is provided with an area E1 used as a defective part address setting address, an area E2 used as an interruption vector table, an area E3 for storing the correcting program, etc.
