PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible the facilitation of positioning in the lamination of metal sheets for a tube structure and a lowering of a pressure loss in a refrigerant passageway at tank parts in a lamination type evaporator. SOLUTION: In a refrigerant passageway of an evaporator, the dryness of a refrigerant is smaller on the refrigerant inlet side than on the refrigerant outlet side to achieve a smaller pressure loss with a lower flow velocity. Paying attention to this point, a protruded part 4A for positioning in the lamination of metal sheets 4 is formed at tank parts 47 and 48 alone on the refrigerant inlet side and the protruded parts 4A are fitted respectively into communication holes 45 and 46 made separately in the tank parts adjacent to each other. On the other hand, at the tank parts 43 and 44 on the refrigerant outlet side, joint surfaces 4C made outward from tanks are formed and the tank parts adjacent to each other are joined.
