PUMP PIT FOR TANK AND WORK EXECUTION METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To define behaviors of membrane and corrugation by preventing deformation in the surface outside direction from being imparted to a membrane, even if a pit body performs heat contraction. SOLUTION: This is a pump pit for tank which is provided with a prescribed depth from a bottom surface of a tank formed by disposing a membrane 6 on an inside surface of a body and stores a pump 3 for discharging liquid and is constituted of a hole part 2 provided at a prescribed location of a bottom part 1 of the body and a bottomed cylindrical pit body 9 which is connected to the membrane 6 and is mounted on a bottom surface 2b of the hole part 2. In the pit body 9, a flange 10 to be a connecting part with the membrane 6 is set higher than a surface direction location of the membrane 6 by a heat contraction amount according to a liquid temperature to be stored.
